Student is Suspended over Viagra
A student has been suspended after giving Viagra pills to fellow students in Somerset.
The teenage girl, who attends Frome Community College, brought in the prescription drugs and gave them to students.
Head teacher Wendy Missons said the matter was sensitive and was dealt with swiftly.
"It is important to alert parents who have prescription drugs of any kind to lock them away," she said.
"Something with a label like Viagra causes humour and curiosity among children.
"All secondary schools in the country have to deal with drugs issues and we are no exception.
"Our line is firm - any drugs on site, be they legal or illegal, results in exclusion from school.
"There is no place for drug use, talk or culture at Frome Community College."
Miss Missons said it was inappropriate to discuss the details of the case and would not confirm any details of the suspension or the ages of the pupils involved.
