Girl, 13, Stabbed Outside School
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a girl, 13, was stabbed outside her school in south-east London.
The incident occurred outside the Sacred Heart School in Camberwell on Wednesday afternoon.
The 13-year-old sustained two minor stab injuries, one each to her chest and thigh, police said.
Officers believe a series of rows between two students regarding meeting after school hours led to the teenager being stabbed with a craft knife.
The boy was bailed by police pending further enquiries.
The girl, who received stitches, was discharged from hospital later in the day.
Det Ch Insp David Ainscough from Southwark police said: "We are working closely with the school to establish the full circumstances of this incident which we are treating as a dispute between two pupils.
"This type of incident is unacceptable and is being thoroughly investigated."
